1. Blind Pop Rivets: How They Work

A blind rivet consists of two parts: the rivet body (sleeve) and an internal mandrel (pin). Inserting the rivet into a pre-drilled hole and pulling the mandrel with a riveting tool expands the rivet body against the blind side of the material, locking the sheets together before snapping the mandrel stem flush.
